Pregnant ... and not know it?
I've heard of this before, but I don't know how you can be pregnant and not know it ...?? Doctors say it's rare, but it happens ...Gennifer McCauley, who lives in North Stafford, Virginia gave birth to her son, Benjamin Michael McCauley-Lang, four hours after being told she was 8 1/2 months pregnant. She had worn a contraceptive patch on her hip for the whole pregnancy term. She didn't look pregnant to any of her co-workers or family. Also, felt no movement in her belly. Gennifer gained 20 pounds and had other symptoms during the 8 1/2 months, but hadn't recognized them as pregnancy symptoms. She even had a regular menstrual period for eight consecutive months! "Since then, McCauley, her boyfriend and their families have tried to figure out what happened. How could a healthy 22-year-old woman -- a little overweight but not obese, who lives with her parents in North Stafford--carry a baby to term and not know it?" It seems incredible ... oui?
