Naming Twins

You want your twins to be individuals, right? Sometimes it's fun to treat them as a pair, but when naming twins it's important to treat them as individuals.

If you still want names that "go together" try some of these suggestions:

1.     You can choose names with the same meaning such as:

• Zoe, Eve and Evie - all mean 'Life'
  
• Tammy and Tasmin - both mean 'Twins'
  
• Shona, Sian, Sinead, Siobhan, Joanne(a), Jack and Ian - all mean 'God has been gracious'
  
• Saffron, Yasmin/Jasmin and Rosie - all are flowers
  
• Sadie, Bejou, Sarah and Zara - all mean 'Princess'
  
• Mia, Mariah and Marianne - all mean 'Wished for child'
  
• Melanie, Kieran and Darcy - all mean 'Dark' and would go well with one of the above
  
• Lucy and Phoebe - both mean 'Light'
  
• Kevin and Alan - both mean 'Handsome'
  
• Eloise and Quinn - both mean 'Wise'
  
• Cheryl and Charity - both mean 'Dear'
  
• Carl and Brian - both mean 'Strong'
  
• Archie and Patrick - both mean 'Noble'

2.    You can get very Cre8tive with Anagrams:

• Myra and Mary
• Amy and May
• Robert and Berrot
• Daniel and Nadeli

3.    Choose your favourite characters from a story or movie.:

We named our twins Jonathan and David after the Bible story of their everlasting friendship. Now this list could get really long, but here are a few!

• Benjamin and Joseph -- younger sons of Jacob in the Bible
  
• Kimball and Hinckley -- two people's last names we greatly respect
  
• Ariel and Sebastian - Little Mermaid

There are so many baby names to choose from. Have a good time naming your little ones!

You can even leave notes to people who go there!  Expecting Moms find it a great way to keep track of things. :-)

3.     Do you want an original, beautiful poem written for someone special? Maybe for your baby, you, or your partner?

Allen's poems are not too pricey, beautiful, and really say what you want to say -- in verse! He's in England though, so make sure you plan on enough time for him to receive your instructions (by email), write the poem, dress it all up fancy, and mail it to you!
